Organic Tikka Curry Paste: Authentic North Indian Flavor

Experience the aromatic heart of North Indian cuisine with our Organic Tikka Curry Paste. At Westcountry Spice, we’ve taken the classic Tikka profile—traditionally celebrated for its vibrant color and smoky depth—and refined it using only the finest certified organic ingredients.

Our Tikka paste is a masterclass in culinary balance. We meticulously blend rich coriander, earthy cumin, and vibrant paprika with the warming notes of garam masala, ginger, and garlic. The result is a medium-spiced, versatile curry base that is as deep in flavor as it is pure in its creation.

Create a delicious, professional-grade meal at home with this simple Tikka Curry recipe.

Ingredients

  • 20g Westcountry Spice Organic Tikka Paste (approx. 2 tsp)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 80g tomato paste (2 heaped tbsp) + 100g water (or equivalent chopped tomatoes)
  • 200g coconut milk (or 30g coconut cream + 180ml water)
  • 10g garlic, minced (optional)
  • Main Ingredient: Your choice of chicken, tofu, or seasonal vegetables.

Cooking Instructions

  1. Sauté: Chop and fry the onion in a pan. After 30 seconds, stir in the Westcountry Spice Tikka Paste.
  2. Sear: Add your meat, tofu, or vegetables. Cook for 3–4 minutes until nearly done.
  3. Simmer: Stir in the tomato paste, garlic, and coconut milk.
  4. Thicken: Blend the ingredients together in the pan and simmer for 4 minutes. If the sauce is too thick, simply add a splash of water.
  5. Serve: Enjoy your restaurant-quality meal with fluffy rice or fresh naan bread.
